Narragansett Condominiums, LLC 2006 TRADE SHOW

The trade show was a tremendous opportunity to meet local business people and discover what is happening in the community. It was the first official presence of the Narragansett Condominium Project. It was a delight to see the community excitement and anticipation circling around the Victorian which is the "front porch" to the city of Rockland. Most interesting of the day was to talk with people who have been in the Community for years and years and have some history with the building. One lady told me her grandmother was a chamber maid at the original Narragansett hotel in the 1920's. Another lady was a hostess when the building was the Rockland Hotel; she said it was the late 1950's and the Hotel had changed proprieters giving it a new name and a new look as it underwent a renovation. Now 5 decades later the community will see the Hotel go Condominium, a complete renovation that will alter its presence back in time to it's origianl gradeur.
